Tool Room team member
Lucas Industries, a PCM Innovation Company, is a growing manufacturer that specializes in precision aerospace tooling and parts. We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Tool Room team member. Responsibilities:
Set-up, operate and maintain a variety of hand and power equipment to produce the company’s products. May also fabricate and modify parts to support product manufacturing. Additional responsibilities may include, but are not limited to sanding, polishing, assembly and shipment packaging. Apply knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, material properties and layout to the tool making process. The person is also responsible for inspection and handling of products, equipment and materials. The person is also responsible for working within ISO 9001, AS9100 certified quality management system parameters & procedures.
Position Requirements:
- Two or more year’s wood working experience with exposure to various power tools is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Moderate to heavy lifting.
- Capable to be on your feet most of the day.
- Work as part of a team and be able to take instructions from a variety of co-workers.
- Cross training and work in other areas of the shop may be required.
- A valid driver’s license.
